Nithya Nagarajan, Lead of Trade Remedies Group at Husch Blackwell, LLP in Washington, DC office and Experienced International Trade and Experienced International Trade.

Her previous roles at the Department of Commerce, the Department of Justice and the U.S. Court of International Trade give Nithya an insider’s perspective as she counsels clients on administrative and regulatory acts before Commerce, the International Trade Commission and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Nithya also defends appeals in the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, NAFTA panels and the World Trade Organization. Nithya’s presentation will focus on New Developments in Import and Export Compliance and antidumping and countervailing duty proceedings issues related to trade-remedy strategy.

 

 

Cortney O’Toole Morgan, Partner, Global Trade Compliance Attorney and Leader of International Trade and Supply Chain Practice at Husch Blackwell, LL in Washington, DC office.

Based in Washington, D.C., Cortney counsels clients on compliance with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and economic sanctions programs administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), as well as anti-boycott programs administered by the U.S. Departments of Commerce and Treasury.

 

 

 

Ted Sherman, Hasbro,  Senior Director for Global Trade Compliance 

Ted Sherman is a multi-industry trade compliance leader and is on the Board of Governors of AAEI (American Association of Exporters & Importers).  Ted is currently the Senior Director – Global Trade Compliance at Hasbro. Ted’s previous experiences include global trade operations and compliance leadership roles at Target and Medtronic. He will provide practical and proactive approaches that businesses are taking to minimizing disruption in their supply chains everyday operations.
